Cardiology

PetVets Animal Hospital works closely with a local cardiology group to provide echocardiograms for our patients.

Echocardiograms (commonly referred to as “echos”) are non-invasive, and use ultrasound imaging to create live pictures of your pet’s heart. These real-time pictures are then submitted to a board-certified cardiologist who is able to diagnose or rule-out any cardiac diseases. The cardiologist and your veterinarian will work together to recommend any medications or follow-up care (if needed).
