PetVets Animal Hospital carries a large selection of most commonly prescribed medications allowing you to take home medications at the time of your visit. If your pet requires a medication we don’t carry, please call us ahead of time and we may be able to special order it for you, or provide a written prescription that can be used to fill your medication at a local (human) pharmacy.
We work with many veterinary compounding pharmacies that can reformulate medications into different forms to fit your pets’ specific needs.
Whether your pet has unique health requirements or is just difficult to medicate - customized, compounded medications can meet needs that off-the-shelf cannot! Most of these pharmacies offer shipping or local pickup. Please call us for more details.
