Kaylynn Lam

Dr. Kaylynn Lam is a native of Chicago's South-Side, growing up right next to Sox Stadium. She graduated with her DVM from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2024. At the UW SVM, Kaylynn founded the DEI Advocates, which aimed to foster Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within the Veterinary Medicine Educational community.

Kaylynn has always had a passion to work with animals (her favorite are silly raccoons!), which has led her to working with a wide range of species; even the Beluga whales at the Shedd Aquarium. She has two tabby cats, Empi and PatPat, along with a few reptiles. When not at PetVets, you can find her behind her easel with a good cup of coffee or bouldering, with a hard reminder that gravity exists!
