Morgan Johnson

Hi, my name is Morgan and I'm one of the Certified Veterinary Technicians at PetVets! I have always had a deep love for animals and I grew up with three labrador retrievers: One named Prince Theodore of Michigan Avenue (affectionately called 'Ted' or 'Teddy'), and also two littermates named Gus and Gunther! I was originally interested in human medicine and got my start working at a nursing home as a nursing assistant. In 2019, I decided I wanted a change of pace and moved to Southern Oregon and while there I found my love for veterinary medicine while volunteering at an animal shelter. I moved back to Illinois in 2021 and graduated in 2022 from the Vet Tech Institute at Fox College, and received my CVT License in May of 2023. My background in Veterinary Medicine has primarily been emergency and specialty medicine, but I found a love for preventive medicine and general practice since being with PetVets. I can't wait to get to know you and your fur babies!
